Natural medicine doctors by location

Talk to an AHPRA-registered Australian doctor by phone from most states and territories. No referral needed. Initial consultation $99, follow-up $59.

Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory patients

We are currently unable to assist patients located in the Northern Territory or Australian Capital Territory due to territory-specific reporting and regulatory requirements. We are working to support these areas soon.

What changes when you live somewhere else

Searching for natural doctors near me usually returns naturopaths and wellness clinics. Medio is a different thing: AHPRA-registered medical doctors who call you at the time you booked, wherever you are.

The appointment itself is the same in every city. What changes is the detail around it. Which pharmacies near you are set up to dispense what your doctor prescribes, which state road rules apply to your prescription, and how far you would otherwise have to travel to find an in-person specialist. Each city page below covers those specifics.

Consultations are $99 for the initial and $59 for follow-ups, everywhere. No referral is needed, and a consultation does not guarantee a prescription.

Common questions about locations

Do I need a natural medicine doctor in my own city?
No. Your doctor calls the mobile number on your booking at the time you chose, so where they happen to sit makes no difference to your care. What does change with your location is which pharmacies near you are set up to dispense, and which state road rules and reporting requirements apply to your prescription. Each city page covers those details. The appointment itself, and the fee, are the same everywhere.
What if my town is not listed here?
You can still book. The cities below are the ones we have written specific guidance for, not a list of where we operate. Patients consult from regional and remote areas across most of Australia, and the process does not change. The two current exceptions are the Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory, which we cannot yet support because of territory-specific reporting requirements.
Are these doctors AHPRA-registered?
Yes. Every Medio doctor is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. That distinction matters when you search for natural or holistic practitioners, because most results are naturopaths and wellness clinics rather than registered medical doctors. Only a registered doctor can prescribe under the Therapeutic Goods Administration pathways, order pathology, and write to your GP.
How much does an appointment cost?
The initial consultation is $99 and runs about 15 minutes. Follow-ups are $59. There is no subscription, no joining fee and no charge for having your file transferred. Pharmacy costs are separate, paid to the pharmacy, and vary by product. Fees are the same in every location.

Available across most of Australia via telehealth

Not limited to these locations - see a doctor from most Australian areas, excluding NT and ACT for now.
