Cancellation Policy

Medio Terms & Conditions (Effective 01/07/2025): 1. Bookings, Fees & Payments 1.1 Payment is required at the time of booking via approved payment methods. 1.2 Consultation fees are charged per appointment and are non-refundable except as set out in Section 2. 1.3 By booking, you confirm the information provided is accurate and that you are the authorised payer. 2. Cancellations, No-Shows & Refunds 2.1 Appointments are fully refundable if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled time; any refund will be issued to the original payment method less any applicable, non-recoverable card transaction and refund processing fees, to the extent permitted by law. 2.2 If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or do not attend, your booking payment will be forfeited and no refund will be provided. 2.3 Refunds are not provided for change of mind. 2.4 If your consultation proceeds but, after clinical assessment, you are deemed unsuitable or ineligible for the service requested (for example, a prescription, medical certificate or treatment plan), no refund will be provided. 2.5 Where a refund is payable, it is processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after approval. 3. Clinical Suitability & Medical Cannabis 3.1 Clinical decisions are made at the treating practitioner’s discretion and in line with current regulations and clinical guidelines; outcomes are not guaranteed. 3.2 If you intend to seek a prescription for medical cannabis, you are responsible for reviewing current eligibility pathways and regulatory requirements before booking. 3.3 Consultation fees apply irrespective of whether a prescription is issued. 4. Use of Platform & User Conduct 4.1 You agree to use the platform lawfully, provide truthful and complete information, and not misuse the service. 4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorised use. 5. Rescheduling 5.1 You may reschedule subject to availability. Rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment is treated as a late cancellation and the booking payment will be forfeited. 6. Technical Issues & Access 6.1 You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and environment for telehealth. If you are late or cannot connect due to user-side issues, clause 2.2 applies. 6.2 If we experience a service outage or practitioner unavailability, we will offer a reschedule or a refund at our discretion.
